‘Yes, he’s in a Celebrations tub. No, he’s not in with the bounties.’
This five-star show is a darkly funny road trip about grief, guilt, and a stolen tub of ashes – because healing doesn’t always go to plan.

Aaron, an out-of-work entertainer, has nicked his dad’s ashes and hidden them in a tub of chocolates. Now he’s on his way to Cornwall with no money, a half-baked plan and the police in hot pursuit. Catch him while you can!

Written and performed by Oscar Brudenall-Jones and directed by Esalan Gates (BroadwayWorld UK Nominee – Best New Production), this dark comedy explores grief in a post-pandemic world, as well as sperm bank strikes and why you shouldn’t lose your rag at an old person. A sharply comic solo show about how grief warps us, and how, sometimes, the worst ideas feel like the only ones left.

Produced by To The Tooth Theatre, this is comedy with a bite.

‘A triumph from start to finish […] the play is a total delight, and I urge everyone – whether they have lost a loved one or not – to go to laugh, cry and experience this play.’ – London Pub Theatres ★★★★★

‘What made me love it is the bravery of writing so honestly about grief, and specifically grief caused by COVID-19 […] funny, honest, and moving.’ – All That Dazzles★★★★

Run time: 1 hour
