The Great Uphill Scarecrow Festival 2026

Started in 2008, Uphill’s Scarecrow Festival is a family-friendly weekend filled with fun, creativity, and community spirit held in September every year.

Visitors pick up a trail leaflet available around the village and embark on the scarecrow trail, seeking out the scarecrows lovingly crafted by local residents.

The two village churches open for refreshments. Refreshments which can also be found in the two local pubs and at the cafe at Uphill wharf. There is something for everyone in an enjoyable walk around the picturesque village of Uphill.
