The Blakehay Theatre presents Pilot’s Thumb Theatre’s Touched, a sharp, socially charged drama about connection in a controlled world. Expect pithy humour and big questions from a thought-provoking new production, suitable for ages 16+.

Set in a Britain quietly reorganised by the Urban Regeneration Programme — neither government nor revolution, but a system that slips into daily life — five lives intersect:

K.C., dismissed as “touched” yet still holding on to what matters;
Thomas, hollowed by grief until K.C. notices him;
Jessica, his ambitious daughter for whom emotion is a luxury;
Mason, who trusts the Programme’s rules; and Marly, chasing a new start and the chance to feel something real.

In a world designed to keep everyone apart, they find rare connection — and must weigh the cost of feeling when society tells you not to.
